Hi, my name is Andrea and I live in Bodmin with my wife Sarah and two children.
Being local I have worked as a carer for many years in and around Bodmin but have recently decided to open my own gardening business – which is my real passion.
I love gardening and growing both flowers and vegetables.
As the Director of Toto Garden Management and Care I take my responsibility for ensuring our customers rate us as “excellent” very seriously and so am further improving my knowledge and skill studying to take the Certificate in Practical Horticulture from the Eden Project, the certificate will be issued by the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh and the Eden Project.
Since I started the business I have done a lot of garden clearances for neglected gardens, I’ve done a lot of weeding and applied weed control membrane, and I have taken down small trees and hedges.
Other services that I’ve offered are pressure washing of paths and decks and maintenance of fences. I love garden designing and I now have gained quite a bit of experience designing a few gardens. In one of my biggest landscaping jobs I had to lift 150m2 of turf and put down sand, fabric and gravel, and make some stone walls and tiers.
I also now have a few gardens in Bodmin and Wadebridge, which i maintain regularly.
My aim as a business is to specialise in garden maintenance and soft landscaping, and the course I’m doing at the Eden Project is giving me all the knowledge and skills I need to do just that.
